1^st Hour. Introduction to the Course and Ucoidiomas in general.

-         General program (1)

o       Enfoque comunicativo de los cursos (desarrollo de la 4 destrezas)

o       Actividades propias de adultos (Diversidad de material)

o       Desarrollar técnicas de autoaprendizaje (Internet)

o       Introducir cultura y costumbres

o       Metodología: Role Tutor-Lector

o       Evaluación: 2 exámenes cuatrimestrales (Enero-Mayo), de los cuales es obligatorio aprobar TODAS LAS PARTES (50% de la puntuación de cada parte) . Imprescindible APROBAR AMBOS EXÁMENES para no ir a Junio. Se valorará la participación en clase.

o       Obligación de asistir al 80% de las clases.

-         Tutorías: No hay presénciales, sólo virtuales

o       Material: Libro de texto y ejercicios de OUP

o       No hay libro de lectura

o       Gramáticas y diccionarios

o       Contenidos: Funcionales (*Travel Phrasebook al final del libro) / temáticos (por grupos de palabras, campos semánticos, vocabulario) /gramaticales (recuadros azules en cada tema) /fonéticos (lector)

o       Saludo de la directora

o       Máximo 18 faltas (al menos 9 justificadas)

o       Las faltas se recuperan por Internet

o       Informe trimestral (4)

2^nd Hour. Ice-Breaking Activities

-         Ball toss game

1.      I say my name and toss the ball

2.      SSS do the same each other

3.      Vice versa: SSS toss the ball at the same time they say the name of the S they are going to toss the ball

4.      SSS toss the ball and the receiver has to guess the name of the sender.

-         Find somebody who: “My Classmates”

-         Overview of the book

o       Each lesson has been assigned a different colour and has been divided into files-that’s the reason for the name of the book- (A-G)

o       At the end you have the typescripts for all the listenings

o       Travel phrasebook (where you can take notes)

o       Wordbank at the end

o       English sounds (You can listen from the web)

o       Irregular Verbs also at the end (Only two columns, with examples)
